The CoroCAM 6D is a robust, light weight, solar blind, easy to operate UVc imaging system used to visualize & locate UVc discharges from Corona, Arcing and Sparking.
At the core of the CoroCAM 6D lies the solar blind CoroCAM design. To reduce costs, but retain the sensitivity, a specially developed low noise, high sensitivity detector was married to the same optical components as used in the highly succesful CoroCAM 504.
The result is a camera system which can detect UVc intensities down to 2.05x10-18 W/cm2.
The CoroCAM 6D is easy to operate yet offers powerful functionality. Start the camera with defaults settings quick and simple work - or optimise the system for perfect performance.
World firsts associated with the CoroCAM 6D:
- a true rainbow of colors selectable for the UV blob coloring
- complete control over the UV blob transparency
- an on screen display (OSD) showing all the variables affecting the image presented
- image series numbering to group images and videos of a fault together. This feature is used by the CoroBASE when sorting images and videos into the database.
- signal averaging to remove noise
