The Insulation tester IT6 Position：Home - The Insulation tester IT6

The Insulation tester IT6 is designed to test:

	Inter turn insulation
	Main insulation of stator windings
	Main insulation of rotor windings

The IT6 can be used for single phase or multiphase machines, transformers, motors and generators which operate on direct current or alternating current.

The tests can be carried out prior to installation or after the installation of windings. A robust, portable version is available for testing on site and as a result, periodic monitoring of large rotating machines is possible.

Typical applications of the IT6 are:

	Routine testing in production facilities.
	Routine testing in repair shops.
	Type testing in research and development laboratories.
	On site testing during periodic maintenance.

Due to the integrated computer interface, the IT6 can also be used to automatically test large quantities of windings in automated production.

The IT6 tester features the following characteristics:

	Generation of high inter turn voltages even in windings with few turns ( low source impedance, 3000A impulse current, 36 Joules energy).
	Broad range of adjustable test voltage (50 V to 6000 V)
	Interface for computer control.
